Events

We host a variety of events at the pavilion during the warmer months.

  • Pavilion Pizza Nights! – monthly wood-fired pizza feasts on a Friday or Saturday evening. We offer reserved seating for 50-60 from 5:00-7:00. After that, anyone can come; we continue making pizzas until we run out of ingredients, run out of energy, or run out of eaters! We have yet to run out of ingredients or energy! The meal usually includes salad, sometimes a seasonal vegetable, many assorted pizzas that come out of the oven every few minutes (including gluten free and/or vegan upon request), a selection of desserts (always some gluten free and some dairy free), and house-made beverages. Folks pay what they’re able, from nothing up to as high as you want to go! Suggested price per person is $20-30. Sit around the outdoor fires, see old friends, meet new ones, and join us for a grand ol’ time!
  • Tastings – we offer a Chocolate Tasting each summer, with an educational presentation about the history, culture, production, and nutritional value of cacao, followed by an amazing blind taste test of 20 exquisite, artisanal, small-batch chocolates. We might bring back the Olive Oil Tasting and Vinegar Tasting of years past!
  • Tea & Scones in the Garden – throughout the warmer months we offer refreshments in the pavilion coupled with the opportunity to talk with Amy about the native perennial pollinator plants sold in Wing & A Prayer nursery. Amy guides folks around the various pollinator habitats she is creating on our land and provides information on the plants and the plant/insect interactions. Alice offers delicious food and beverage refreshments (donations accepted but not expected!). A great time is had by all.
